Code of Conduct

The founder of the Orange Coast Olympic Games, later changed to The Rick Ross Elk Olympics, had a vision to unite the lodges in our district. This was in hopes of creating a deeper friendship (brotherhood) between our lodges.

Although, when adding the competitive factor, emotions tend to run high. It is our responsibility, as participants, to control our emotions and keep in mind why these games were created. Unruly behavior, excessive foul language and rudeness will not be tolerated.

Our Committee Volunteers and Event Captains have worked to set guidelines that help each event run smoothly. Participants need to adhere to these guidelines as presented to them. Failure to adhere to these guidelines combined with undesired behavior will result in disciplinary actions.

Such disciplinary actions could range from disqualification from said event, disqualification from all RREO events of said year, or full disqualification from future RREO events.

The Committee Volunteers and Event Captains want everyone to have a memorable time and return each year, so please understand that these rules are to enhance your experience, in hopes for your return and the growth of the RREO. We will do everything we can to resolve an issue before resulting in said disciplinary actions.

Said disciplinary actions will be decided upon by the Committee Head Chair with the assistance of the other Committee Volunteers. Event Captains are responsible for informing the Committee Head Chair of any problems that need to be addressed.
